WE WILL BE RACING IN 2022

It feels like so long ago that we were racing around the Dinner Plain trails in 2019. The new committee formed in 2020 and have been waiting for the opportunity to bring back the snow race we all love. We are so excited to announce that 2022 is our year!
2022 RACE UPDATE 5TH JULY 2022
RACE DATE- 13TH AND 14TH OF AUGUST 2022
The date has been set, and we are so excited to hold this years sprint race. Please check with your accomodation providers regarding rollover of accommodation over the past couple of years
The Dinner Plain Sled Dog Sprint will be abiding by Victorian Government direction regarding to current mandates and laws including our COVID Safe Plan. We also want to ensure that this event is as safe as possible for all that attend.
DOG VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
All dogs owned by competitors that are onsite need to be up to date with the minimum C3 vaccination
OPEN RACE CLASSES
Our classes are as follows
Women's and Men's Skijor 1 Dog Class (run together)
2 Dog + 2 Dog Junior Class (run together)
3 Dog Class
4 dog + 6 Dog Class (run together)
We want to encourage as many entries as possible. Entry fees are $75 for first class and $50 for any additional classes.
CHANGES TO TRACK
Let's change it up a bit, we will be racing the track in reverse to previous years, that's right, going up the 's bends'. Perfect opportunity for those who have been wanting to step up a class on snow
OUR FREE BOOTCAMP IS BACK
We are holding our annual snow bootcamp on Thursday the 11th of August. It will be compulsory for Juniors and those who are racing on snow for the first time. Anyone is welcome to attend with a small fee for those not competing.
MINI MUSHER FAMILY EVENT
For the first time families will be able to take mini mushers out for a sled. This event will be held only on Saturday 13 August. Due to insurance purposes entries are only available to an adult driver who has entered an open class
