Vaughan is the veteran of the committee with 20+ years experience running all classes including 8 dog. Vaughan has had a strong commitment to 'giving back' to the sled dog community. Vaughan continues to organise and host junior mushers from NZ.

Past Founding President & Event Manager
Jo is an experienced musher competing at dryland and snow races for the past 15+ years. Jo ran her two Alaskan Malamutes at the Innaugral Falls Creek Classic back in 2010. Jo is also an amazing event manager and administrator having run Sled Dog RGO's for a number of years. Jo has stepped down from the Dinner Plain Sled Dog Sprint committee to work on other projects.
Past Vice President & Public Relations
Jess is really a 'veteran' of sled dog racing but she is only in her 20's. She spent her childhood in the forests with her parents, Jo and Vaughan as a mini musher with her Alaskan Malamutes. Fast forward 10 years and Jess is pretty much doing it all with Alaskan Huskies and Eurohounds. She competes across all rig and scooter classes each season. Jess has stepped down from the Dinner Plain Sled Dog Sprint to focus on other projects and finish her studies.
